History
We have over two decades of experience in offering high quality childcare in our local community.
1988
St Michael's Family Resource Centre Crèche and Afterschool was set up in 1988 by The Family Resource Centre Community Development Project for the local children. The Crèche and Afterschool were originally housed in the Family Resource Centre and they were first set up by Sr. Josephine Hendrick in just one room.
Early 1990s
The Crèche and Afterschool moved to a two bedroom flat in St. Michael's Estate in the early 1990s.
2012
The Afterschool moved into the Parish centre for two years, while waiting on the new premises in Thornton Heights.
2014
Since 2014, we are now in a new custom designed space to suit the needs of the infants and children. At the heart of The Family Resource Centre Community Development Project is an open door, a warm welcome, a non-judgmental attitude and genuine solidarity in our work.
